Hairstyle Tips for the Bride
Here are some helpful hairstyle tips for the
perfect hairdo on your wedding day. They are as follows:
1. Avoid big and overstyled hair, as this look is outdated.
2. Gather several bridal magazines and look for a model who is
wearing a veil similar to yours. Clip this picture and take it to
your hairstylist.
3. Choose a salon that offers a hairstylist, makeup artist, and
manicurist for convenience and to save time.
4. Be sure to talk to your stylist about the six most important
factors for your hairstyle:
a. The style and length of your dress (a picture would be ideal);
b. The neckline of your dress;
c. What veil and/or headpiece you have chosen (see number two
above);
d. The shape of your face;
e. The length and style of hair your desire (some hairstyles do
not work well with certain textures and lengths of hair); and,
f. Will the look you have chosen compliment your features?
5. Any additional information you can provide to your stylist is
helpful. The more he or she knows about the theme and tone of your
wedding, the easier it will be for them to achieve the hairstyle
you desire.
6. Avoid gaudy jewelry that will detract from your hairstyle.
7. Look at pictures and watch movies from the past. Many of today's
romantic hairdos were popular sixty years ago and have just been
slightly modified for a more modern look.
8. You can never go wrong with a glazed and sleek hairdo.
9. Include the added touch of woven pearls through your hair for
an illuminating effect.
